Roasted Broccoli

 Roasted Broccoli 

4 Servings | 5-minute Prep Time | 20 minute Cook Time

Ingredients

12 oz. Broccoli Florets (about 2 heads of broccoli)
2 tbsp Olive Oil
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
Lemon, halved (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Wash and dry broccoli.  If using whole heads of broccoli, trim florets off of stems with knife.

Place broccoli on baking sheet and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the tips start to brown.  (I usually let mine go a little longer, until it’s a little crispy, but not so long that it becomes burnt or bitter.)

Squeeze lemon juice over top before serving.
