Cashew Butter

Ingredients
10-12 oz. Whole Unsalted and Unroasted Cashews
2-3 Tbsp. Neutral Oil
½ tsp. Cardamom (optional)
1 Tbsp. Honey (optional)
Salt
Instructions
In medium-sized frypan, toast cashews over medium heat until
color deepens and the oils start to release. Shake pan frequently throughout
cooking. Do not leave unattended.
Add nuts and oil to a food processor and purée until smooth.
Nuts will be finely ground first, keep processing until a paste forms. Adjust
the amount of oil as needed.
Add salt, cardamom, and honey to taste. Continue processing
to incorporate.
Serve on toast or store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
