Mushroom Broth
4 Servings | 5-minute Prep Time | 1-hour Cook Time
Ingredients
4 c. Filtered Water
½ lb. Shiitake Mushrooms
¼ inch piece of Kombu Seaweed
½ Yellow Onion, cut in half
4 Cloves of Fresh Garlic, peeled
Handful of Parsley Stems
Salt
Pepper
Dash of Soy Sauce
Instructions
In a medium sized saucepan, bring everything except the soy
sauce to a boil, then drop to a simmer for 1 hour. Strain before use. Add the
soy sauce at the end if desired. Great for sipping or for dipping noodles in.
