Leek Broth
4 Servings | 5-minute Prep Time | 1-hour and 30-minute Cook Time
Ingredients
6 c. Filtered Water
2 Leeks, trimmed and cut into smaller pieces
2 Celery Ribs, trimmed and cut into thirds
½ Yellow Onion, cut in half
4 Cloves of Fresh Garlic, peeled
½ inch piece of Kombu Seaweed
1 Fresh Thyme Sprig
Handful of Parsley Stems
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
In a medium sized pot, bring all ingredients to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 hours. Strain before use.
